Abstract:
Due to the axiomatic differences between uncertainty theory and other stochastic or fuzzy frameworks, developing efficient numerical methods for solving Caputo-type uncertain fractional differential equations remains a challenge. This paper introduces the concept of the α-path for uncertain fractional differential equations (UFDEs) and establishes the existence, uniqueness, and continuity of their solutions. Based on this, the inverse uncertainty distribution of the solution is derived. Finally, a fast numerical algorithm is proposed to efficiently compute the inverse uncertainty distribution of the solution to uncertain fractional differential equations, along with illustrative examples.
