Abstract:

In the present work, for a unital $C^{\ast}$-algebra $ \mathbb{A}$, we introduce the notion of $ (\alpha_\mathbb{A},\eta_\mathbb{A})$-$C^{\ast}$-algebra valued $b$-quasi-metric spaces. Also, we discuss the existence and uniqueness of fixed points for a self-mapping defined on a such space. Our results extend and supplement several recent results in the literature. Some non-trivial examples are given to illustrate our results.
